Embention releases upgraded Veronte KAI FCC for One-Way drones at MSPO

One more year is presented by HOMSEC, the International Exhibition of National Security Technologies, which celebrated its fifth edition from 10 to 12 March at Ifema in Madrid (Partenón Avenue, 5). The leading exhibition in Spain in defense and security is a key event of reference to know the latest developments and markets in Spain as well as in Latin America, North Africa, and the Middle East.
HOMSEC is characterized as a unique opportunity to be involved with customers, key people, opinion makers, and media in the sector. It also provided a more widespread presentation thanks to the presentation of existing fields, Urban Security and Civil Defense, in which there is a rising demand and innovative solutions.
Embention and Everis have presented their innovations, which included the precision guidance kit for artillery rockets. MIURA is an R&D improvement that combines the Inertial Navigation System (INS) with a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) that are embedded into the autonomous guidance system Veronte in its redundant version, developed by Embention.
The kit is housed in the front of the projectile, with a length of 79 cm., a load of 19 kg, and a dropdown canard control system of 4 guided wings that ensure an accuracy’s Circular Error Probable (CEP) of 10 meters. The MIURA guidance kit is in development but has already been tested on the premises of the National Institute of Aerospace (INTA) in Huelva.
This precision guidance kit will become a very attractive trade item for all countries using artillery systems, wishing to significantly increase their accuracy with lower prices than other precision weapons.
The company SCR also introduced its X-Prop multicopter for high-performance applications. With a 1.5-meter diameter and a payload capacity of up to 2 kg, it is capable of operating for 40 minutes. The installed control system, Veronte, allows to completely autonomously operate the quadcopter. Along with this platform was presented the control station Veronte TGS that integrates all elements of the ground station on a rugged tablet, maximizing system mobility.
