HIL Simulator Setup

HIL Simulator Setup

Same hardware and software utilized in the actual system are applied in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations. These simulations communicate simulated sensor data to Veronte Autopilot, executing GNC algorithms as if in a real flight scenario.
Real Actuator Movement

Real Actuator Movement

In simulation, the Veronte HIL Simulator controls the model of the aircraft together with the actuators of the actual platform. This facilitates testing for configuration and platform mounting failures, having real actuator movement on the ground.
Advanced Configuration

Advanced Configuration

A powerful environment for testing autopilot configurations before actual operations, including payload activation, control adjustments, and failsafe mitigations. The simulator replicates adverse conditions and like rain, wind, system failures and others.,

Compatible with any Platform

Veronte Autopilot HIL is compatible with a wide range of platforms, permitting to operate almost any unmanned vehicle imaginable. Compatible simulation software X-Plane, Microsoft Flight Simulator, etc. Include tools to create custom vehicles.

HIL Simulator Uses

The operator can fly the system as a real flight, being compatible with main Veronte features: real-time mission edit, in-flight automatic to manual control, flight data recording… In addition, it can be used in conjunction with other systems.

Operator Training

Operator Training

Complete missions can be executed using the same tools as during an actual flight.

Pre-configuration tests

Pre-configuration tests

Adapt the autopilot configuration and aircraft tuning prior performing real flights.

PDI Verification for Certification

PDI Verification for Certification

Conduct autopilot testing to validate system requirements and generate certification evidence.
