Veronte Autopilot 6.14 introduces a suite of powerful enhancements across its ecosystem, ensuring compliance with aircraft certification standards and greater efficiency and flexibility for autonomous vehicle operations.
Key improvements include the enhancement for the management of multiple datalinks simultaneously, a centralized hub for Veronte applications, and new programming features in PDI Builder. Additionally, the update ensures compatibility with the latest version of X-Plane, enhanced geocaging capabilities, and advanced telemetry analysis tools. These innovations solidify Veronte’s position as a leader in autopilot systems, meeting the demands of UAS operations.
Now, Veronte Link enhances the management of multiple datalinks working simultaneously, such as SATCOM, LOS, 4G, etc., prioritizing the information from the link with the lowest latency. Additionally, synchronisation between multiple control stations has been improved when they are working simultaneously.
From Veronte Toolbox, you can access, update, install, and uninstall all available Veronte applications, all from a single application.
PDI Builder has been updated with new features like the import of C++ Custom Code, enhanced support for External Navigation, and the increase of the number of user variables up to 3000, including Non-volatile variables.
Now, Veronte HIL Simulator is compatible with the latest version of X-Plane. Additionally, synchronization and performance have been improved, resulting in more fluency during the simulation.
Multiple fail-safe areas are automatically generated in compliance with the European regulation ED270, making it possible to trigger different fail-safes in each area.
Widgets have been updated to provide a better user experience. These improvements include enhanced customisation options and better interaction with the interface. In addition, the updated widgets now support more intuitive controls, making it easier for operators to manage tasks efficiently.
It is now possible to show the desired flight path vector in the attitude widget.
New widget to command the virtual stick or bits with buttons. It enhances the possibility of adding custom buttons on the screen by the operator.
Now, you can customise the sounds for alert widgets. It permits associating a custom sound to a specific range for any variable in the system.
The video widget has been updated, allowing to, among other functions, view real-time images from the vehicle’s integrated camera. It is now more flexible and compatible with a wide set of video feeds.
New tool to analyze flight data. It allows adding variables and creating advanced graphs with the data. It is also possible to download the data as a CSV file or to replay the mission in Veronte OPS as in previous versions.
Veronte Autopilot 6.14 represents a significant advancement in drone technology, offering enhanced functionality and user experience. These updates ensure that Veronte remains at the forefront of autopilot systems, meeting the needs of modern UAS operations.
