As every two years it has been performed the most important event on aerospace, defense, and security in Latin America, the FIDAE (International Fair of Air and Space). This fair was held in Chile from 29th March to 3rd April 2016, at the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Santiago de Chile.
With the course of time, FIDAE has proved to be the aerospace business center and the most relevant fair in the region. This is a great influence exposition in the decision making of research, development, and investment in the zone, becoming the best showcase for major brands and a meeting point between their managers.
With more than 30 years of existence, FIDAE shows the most advanced technologies available in the following areas:
In FIDAE, Everis has exhibited its most innovative products, such as the Veronte Autopilot 1x from Embention, together with other UAV and aeronautic products. During FIDAE, the attendees were able to observe these products at the Everis Aerospace and Defense booth in the pavilion of Spain.
Veronte Autopilot 1x is a high-performance professional guidance kit capable of providing autonomous flight capabilities to all kinds of drones, UAVs, UAS, and RPAS. This autopilot has already been used in various Everis projects, as, for example, the Miura project, a precision guidance kit for artillery rockets. The Miura is the result of a large R&D development that combines the aptitude of inertial guidance with GPS satellite positioning.
Likewise, Tucan UAV was able to be known in FIDAE 2016, a new UAV manufactured by SCR, developed with the most rigorous design specifications and the use of composite materials, a UAV including hand launch for take-off, being functional, lightweight, and versatile.
