Embention is proud to announce the launch of Veronte Ecosystem Release 7.6 – Command Forge, a significant update that reinforces our commitment to standardization, operational safety, and seamless drone management. This release introduces critical updates across the entire software suite—including the Autopilot, CEX, Motor Controllers, and the Veronte Cloud platform, providing drone manufacturers and operators with a more robust and interconnected environment.
Veronte Autopilot: Interoperability and Precision
At the core of this update is a major step forward in interoperability. The Veronte Autopilot firmware now includes partial support for STANAG 4586, the NATO standard interface for UAV control systems. This addition ensures that Veronte-powered systems can integrate more easily with compliant Ground Control Stations (GCS), streamlining operations in mixed-fleet environments.
Command Forge also introduces advanced navigation capabilities:
4D Waypoints: Enhancing trajectory control by adding time constraints to spatial waypoints.
Geocaging on Route: Adding a layer of safety by ensuring the UAV remains within defined operational corridors during automatic flight.
Enhanced GNC: The Guidance, Navigation, and Control system has been upgraded with new program blocks.
Expanded Capabilities: Veronte CEX and Motor Controllers
Veronte CEX Firmware now supports the execution of programs directly within the CEX unit, reducing the processing load on the main autopilot and distributing the computing along the aircraft. Additionally, a new SIL (Software In the Loop) simulation block has been integrated to facilitate safer and more efficient testing of complex missions before deployment.
Motor Controller Firmware has received a comprehensive update focused on reliability. This includes enhanced robustness, more rigorous health monitoring, and updates for SINCOS sensors, ensuring optimal propulsion performance under varying load conditions.
Veronte CLS and Cloud: Next-Gen Management
Veronte CLS (Central Logging Server): It features granular user management and the flexibility of both Cloud or Local management options. Administrators can now control app installation permits, adding a layer of security to the operational workflow.
Veronte Cloud: A completely redesigned user interface improves usability. Users can now download the Veronte Toolbox directly from the cloud and handle autopilot management more intuitively.
Technical Enhancements and Cybersecurity
Release Command Forge also brings “under-the-hood” improvements designed for high-performance integration:
Telemetry Expansion: Configuration capability has been increased to allocate 10 vectors and 2400 fields, allowing for massive data acquisition.
Cybersecurity: The update adds secure CAN filtering, protecting the avionics bus from unauthorized or erroneous messages.
Hardware Support: Official support has been added for 1x hardware version 4.12.
With Release 7.6 – Command Forge, the Veronte Ecosystem continues to evolve from a set of avionics components into a comprehensive, standard-compliant platform for professional aviation. By bridging the gap between robust hardware control and cloud-based management, Embention ensures that our partners have the technology required for the next generation of unmanned operations.
