With the aim of promoting team building and healthy lifestyle habits, last Sunday the Embention team participated in the Alicante Company Race organized by the local Run Run Sports company and sponsored by NTT Data.
In addition, after the race, Embention organized a fantastic brunch for its team members, taking the opportunity to generate a relaxed meeting outside the work environment, thus promoting healthy lifestyle habits among the members of the company.
From Embention, we support this type of sports initiatives as we are committed to promote values that help to achieve greater cohesion in the workplace through sports and sharing values such as self-improvement or teamwork. In this context, the team has shared a common experience and a collective challenge, strengthening bonds and fostering team building that will later translate into better dynamics within the organization.
The race brought together 1,200 runners and more than 100 participating companies from all over the province, who were able to enjoy a race through the urban area of Playa de San Juan, running through some of its main streets. The race offered two possible routes of 5 Km and 10 Km as well as different registration categories as “Companies”, “Self-employed” and “Open”.
This is the first edition of this popular event and a great opportunity to unite, through sport, both organizations and professionals from different sectors of Alicante’s business sector, including the technology sector, in which Embention participated.
The team members, through their feedback on their participation in the event, have remarked their willingness to participate in future editions of the race, as well as in similar sporting events that allow activities outside the work environment and help to strengthen ties between team members.
