Designed for the most demanding applications

Possibility to install any directional antenna

It can install any directional antenna (yagi, parabolic grid or patch) for maximizing system operation capabilities. Height and orientation given to the antenna make the Veronte T28 the perfect tracking system for long-range operations, above 200km.

Unique Accuracy Capability

Embedded control actuators, coupled with precision encoders, enable automatic antenna pointing with unparalleled accuracy. It ensures precise tracking for optimal performance, all this controlled by the sensors within the Veronte PCS station.

For drones and autonomous vehicles

The auto-tracking performance automatically points the antenna in the direction of the vehicle, no matter if it is a drone or other autonomous vehicle. Telemetry data shared via the data-link provides the data of position and altitude needed for pointing.

Flexible datalink architecture

The tracking antenna T28 permits to install a wide range of datalinks in the designated expansion bay, no matter the frequency or the manufacturer. Standard configurations are offered for 400MHz, 900MHz and 2.4GHz for telemetry and video.

Single or Dual Antenna Datalink

Single and dual antenna configurations are available in order to adapt to the datalink requirements for MIMO or other advanced communication technologies. An additional omnidirectional antenna is included for short range comms.

Customizable System

Expansion bay in the Veronte PCS is designed for the installation of a wide variety of datalinks. The internal connector provides power and RS232 / Ethernet communication for the datalink connection. Silvus, DTC or SDL are some examples.

Harsh Environments

The mil-grade tracking antenna system is designed for outdoors use and operations in harsh and military environments. The waterproof enclosure and robust construction makes it suitable for communications in harsh environments.

Auto-tracking antenna

Veronte Control Station PCS module is used for the control of the tracking antenna system in both static or moving applications.

Accurate Tracking

It makes use of the Veronte PCS internal sensors (GNSS, IMU, barometer, compass, etc.) to estimate the position and attitude of the tracking antenna system. It provides accurate antenna pointing even when installed in vessels or moving vehicles.

Pan-Tilt Tracking Antenna

The advanced design of the T28 enables the unlimited rotation +360º in the pan axis and 0-90º for the tilt. It permits to continuously follow the drone or the autonomous vehicle without losing communications with it at any time during the operation.

For Veronte or Third Parties

The system is plug and play compatible with Veronte Autopilots being also possible to install it with third party equipment. The T28 can be controlled via CAN bus or serial port by providing the position + altitude or the direction of pointing as angles.

Tracking Antenna Applications

Long Range Communications

Long range communications in the LOS (Line Of Sight) requires a clear view between the control station and onboard antennas. For this, the Veronte T28 is supplied with an adjustable height mast that enables positioning the antennas at high altitudes in clear spaces. The wired communications to the control station accept long cables by using ethernet connection.

Veronte PCS Compatibility

Designed as an adaptor for the PCS provides a wide flexibility in the sense that when operating at short distances the operator can make use of the stand alone PCS and when operating at longer ranges it will make use of both PCS and T28 tracking antenna. It provides versatility at the time it simplifies the operation and makes it possible to use the same datalink for all installations.
