Mission
For this new project, we want to combine the efficiency of an electric motor with the lightness and strength of our composite materials to significantly reduce their weight without losing motor performance.
The objective is to design an electric motor for aircraft with a high power-to-weight ratio, using an axial flow typology and a mixed metal-composite construction.
Actions
- Evaluate different possible constructions
- Calculate loads and dimension components
- Define interfaces to support the engine and its propeller (for testing)
We need
- Mechanical engineer or similar
- Demonstrable experience or knowledge in electric motor design
