Mission Toolbar

The mission toolbar provides the graphical tools to create the path that the aircraft follows while it is in cruise phase. The created mission is stored in the .ver file of the configuration.

Veronte Setup dialogue can be opened in the main menu clicking on menu-veronte-pipe and selecting Mission in the pull-down menu.

The elements that appear on the toolbar are detailed in the following table.

New WPT Add new waypoint on click position
Line Add a straight line
Ellipse Add a ellipse
Multiple Choice It is a selection tool
Event Mark Add a mark to trigger an event
Obstacle Add an obstacle where the plane will not cross
New Irregular Polygon Draw irregular areas on the map for association with polygon events
New Regular Polygon Draw regular areas on the map for association with polygon events
Circular Area Draw circular areas on the map for association with polygon events
  References  Create points of reference.
  Mapping Draw a polygon for mapping applications.
  Import Import route configuration
KML Download a .kml file with the route created.
Google Earth Open Google Earth and show the route that user has drawn
Ruler Measure on map.

How each one of the tools shown in the previous table works will be detailed in the section Mission Tools.

Besides, the elements to create a route, the Mission toolbar contains the configuration of the terrain meshes which provide information about the terrain height over the operation areas. Those areas are determined by two squares as shown in the following figure.
