En el campo militar destacan por la detecci\u00f3n y eliminaci\u00f3n de minas marinas, protecci\u00f3n contra submarinos, seguridad mar\u00edtima, guerra electr\u00f3nica y soporte a unidades especiales.<br \/>\nLa exploraci\u00f3n marina ha encontrado tambi\u00e9n en estas embarcaciones no tripuladas o <strong>USV una herramienta de gran utilidad ya que ha permitido reducir costes y modificar los requerimientos de dise\u00f1o bas\u00e1ndose \u00fanicamente en aquello que necesita el sistema,<\/strong> es decir, quedan eliminadas todas aquellas condiciones de habitabilidad para la tripulaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s varias embarcaciones no tripuladas pueden ser controladas desde un mismo barco nodriza abaratando los costes y aumentando la eficiencia de las misiones con mayor velocidad de ejecuci\u00f3n y precisi\u00f3n.<br \/>\nEl Veronte Autopilot 1x permite la realizaci\u00f3n de misiones multiplataforma con UAV y USV trabajando simult\u00e1neamente y compartiendo informaci\u00f3n entre ellos. Lo que permite crear una unidad aut\u00f3noma formada por distintas plataformas controladas desde un \u00fanico barco nodriza.
