The acceletometer configuration menu shows two possible configurations for external sensors. If “Internal” navigation mode has been selected in IMU configuration, “Internal” option has to be selected in the following menu.

Each configuration allows the user to modify the parameters of  “Integer” and “Decimal” variables provided by a external sensor.

Accelerometer Configuration Menu

  • Initial: to select the source of information.
    • Internal: Uses the internal information of  Veronte accelerometer.
    • Integer or Decimal: Uses information of external sensors.
    • External: Uses the information of a especific external sensor.

If the internal information is selected it is not necessary any configuration. Otherwise, the following options are available.

When Integer variable is selected, the previous panel will be shown. In this panel, user select the variable that has been stored in a “user variable” (Green Box) and the operations that will be carried on (Red Box). It is possible use the signal and work with it using a linear or quadratic relation. The following image shows an example of a linear relation.

In this menu, user selects flotant variables, these do not requiere a signal treatment.

This option uses the information of a specific external sensor. Only the Rotation Matrix need to be configured, this indicates the orientation of the external sensor with respect to the board.
